Hello, I’m Rose and thank you for dropping by 🙂
A little about myself: I am a nurse working in an Oncology/ Medical Surgical Unit. I am proud of my profession and I feel privileged to work with people who are caring and unselfish despite the highly stressful nature of our job. The good thing is that my work schedule has enabled me to take adequate days off so I can pursue my very first love: traveling. My grandma joked that I was born to wander because I have moles on the sole of my left foot. I am indeed a travel junkie and I am not looking for any cure to my exquisite malady anytime soon.
I’ve traveled around in the USA and abroad and mostly in the company of friends and loved ones I enjoyed being with. I’ve only started traveling solo more than 2 years ago and it opened a whole new world to me. I’ve been living my dream as best as I can since then. As can be expected, I’ve made mistakes and gotten into quandaries of which I’ve generally came out of unscathed, except for my last trip in Norway. These circumstances provided some valuable lessons that are hopefully making me better and smarter.
My travels are far from being luxurious or big-budgeted and I might not be as seasoned as the other travelers out there. I do not claim to be an authority in all things travel-related but I would be more than willing to impart some tips and recommendations especially for those who are thinking of going solo. That goes to say that I would be open to learn from others as well.
